Embracing Black History Every Day is a mindset and commitment to actively engage with, celebrate, and learn about Black history on a daily basis. It involves recognizing and honoring the contributions, achievements, and struggles of Black individuals throughout history, as well as acknowledging the ongoing impact of systemic racism and inequality.
At Kreatively Kultured Magazine, we believe that
celebrating the achievements and contributions
of trailblazers in the Black community extends
far beyond the confines of February's Black
History Month. Each month, we take a moment
to honor those who have made significant
strides inshaping culture, art, and society. This
month, we journey back to November 12,1941,
to spotlight the remarkable Madame Lillian
Evanto, the visionary founder of the National
Negro Opera Company. Through her pioneering
efforts, Evanto not only enriched the world of opera but also created a platform for Black artists to showcase their talents and tell their stories. Join us as we explore her legacy and the lasting impact of this groundbreaking institution on the arts and the community.

We were fortunate enough to attend the “World of Shapes Tour” Exhibition today, and it was truly amazing! The attention to detail and creativity in each piece was truly impressive. We were completely mesmerized by the way the shapes seemed to come to life and interact with each other. It was a unique and immersive experience that we will never forget. Thank you for sharing your incredible talent with the world. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next! Huge congratulations to Dkane and his incredibly talented team for their outstanding work on this exhibition.
This annual ceremony is a poignant tribute to the millions of Africans who were forced aboard slave ships and never made it back to land. The experience was deeply moving and resonated with our souls. Held at Fort Monroe’s onlook beach, the ceremony honored these ancestors who were denied a proper burial. The rhythmic beats of the drums and the participants adorned in all white and African prints created a solemn atmosphere that touched everyone present.
